DINE OUT
RESTAURANT PARTICIPATION

April 27 - May 3, 2025

Help us raise funds to support North Kitsap Schools by participating in the North Kitsap School Foundation’s Dine Out! During one week of each year, NKSF works in collaboration with local area restaurants to raise awareness of our classroom grants program.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Any restaurant within the North Kitsap School District boundaries interested in participating in our Dine Out campaign can do so without pledging any financial contribution in advance. Simply let us know, and we will provide your restaurant with a packet containing everything you’ll need. The materials in the packet will have a QR code for patrons to make a donation directly, should they choose to, as well as general information about the fundraiser to provide your restaurant staff with answers to questions.

We just need to know:

The name of your restaurant
Who is our primary contact at your restaurant?
- Name, email address and phone number
How many tables in your restaurant for table tents?
Do you have a bulletin board, or space in your front area or waiting area to hang an 8 ½ x 11 inch flier with information for your patrons waiting to be seated? And...
- How many fliers you'd like for your restaurant

During The Event

Leading up to, and during the week of the event, NKSF will promote your restaurant along with all other participating restaurants via our media channels including social media, newsletters, weblog posts, and more. We'll also start and monitor the hashtag (#DineOutNK) throughout the week of the event to promote posts by patrons or anyone else participating in the event.

Since there are only 7 days of the event, the first 7 participating restaurants will be individually featured in a social media post on one day of the week during the event.

Afterward

We ask that you collect up the table tents and fliers that have survived the week, and set them aside for us. We’ll come back and pick them up so that they can be reused again next year to help keep our expenses low.

While any additional contribution by your restaurant isn’t necessary, if you feel your restaurant's patronage grew and would also like to contribute to the fundraiser, we will happily add your donation to the funds raised during the event. In exchange, we’ll provide your restaurant with window cling for the front of your restaurant indicating that you’re a supporter of North Kitsap Schools through the North Kitsap Schools Foundation’s Dine Out campaign.
