Katie Lee has worked for the North Kitsap School District for eighteen years. She has supported her three children’s education through NKSD by starting as a Classroom Mom, and was then hired to maintain the Resource Room at Breidablik Elementary School. Throughout her career, Katie has worked at numerous schools with the district, and today works at Vinland Elementary as an ISP Paraeducator, serves on the Leadership Board and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports team, and is the Public School Employee classified union representative.
As a regular volunteer within the community, Katie has coached the Special Olympics for several years, and was a 4-H leader and barn superintendent for several years and still volunteers regularly. When she’s not working with students, you can find Katie on her farm with her goats and chickens, developing her garden, or fishing on her family’s boat in Alaska.
