Fishline Helps NKSD Students SOAR

NKSF Awarded a 2024 Fishline SOAR Grant to Fund Grants Program

We are delighted to announce that Fishline has awarded NKSF a 2024 Student Opportunity & Advancement Resources (SOAR) grant in the amount of $1000 to help fund our grants program and support North Kitsap students during the 2024-2025 school year.

The SOAR program is intended to help students meet basic needs, achieve academic success, and enable them to pursue extracurricular activities. Read more about the SOAR program here.

As a critical community resource, Fishline’s mission is to coordinate resources to help people on a path to sustainability, including …

• comprehensive social and human services at their location, including free mental health services.

• providing food, shelter, unhoused support services, and assistance with local recreation programs.

• helping kiddos have a special birthday and gifts for Christmas.
