NKSF believes in strong collaboration with the community in support of our schools. To that end, we participate in and host several events in the community throughout the year.
UPCOMING EVENTS
KITSAP GREAT GIVE
Kitsap Great Give, organized by the Kitsap Community Foundation, gives our work a larger voice throughout the greater Kitsap community. Held annually, just before spring, Kitsap Great Give gathers participating nonprofit organizations throughout Kitsap County and North Mason County together for a massive day of giving. Organizations large and small receive promotions and incentives throughout the 24 hours of the event, making it one of the most exciting giving campaigns in the Kitsap Peninsula.
NKSF participates every year to raise funds for our Grants Program. You can follow along on our Social Media accounts, by subscribing to our email messaging, or visiting our Kitsap Great Give page.
DINE OUT
We love the amazing cuisine the North Kitsap community has to offer, and so every spring we collaborate with local restaurants to bring the community together around great food and drink.
We understand that maybe you can only get out to eat one day of the week, or perhaps your craving needs something different, so we arrange Dine Out to occur throughout an entire week. Visit any or all of the participating restaurants any time during the week of Dine Out, and you’ll find us there either in person with an open table to share or in spirit through our table tents.
If you come out for Dine Out be sure to look for us. We want to connect with you. Share with the restaurant staff that you’re there for the event, and tag us on Social Media with photos! While the event is a fundraising campaign, we like to think of it as a community gathering and a chance to meet our neighbors around great food.

TEACHER & STAFF APPRECIATION
Every year in late summer North Kitsap School District teachers and staff return to our school’s campuses early to participate in professional development. As our most important constituency, we want to recognize their hard work, so NKSF works with community partners to sponsor a luncheon or breakfast to show appreciation.
