Signing Up
When you sign up on www.nkschoolsfoundation.org, you're automatically added to our email subscriber list and given a basic website membership account.
As a basic subscriber, you can log in to customize your profile and adjust your newsletter preferences at any time. To unlock additional website features, such as participation in discussion groups, earning profile badges, and additional future benefits, you are invited to join one of our sustaining donor programs:

Luminaries: For monthly sustaining donor contributions made directly through our website.

SPARK: For employees of the North Kitsap School District who donate via payroll deduction.
Annual pledge donors are recognized through our Cornerstone Club. (We will integrate the Cornerstone Club's full benefits into the website in early 2026.)

Weekly Updates
We have organized our content into three main categories to inform our followers about our work, each with its own highlighted colors for easy reference. Each Weekly Update consists of one of the following topic areas.
Grants In Action
Much of our content focuses on the impact that the grants we award have on the North Kitsap School District, its classrooms, and students. The Grants In Action messages share the story of the impact that our donors are having on our schools.
Bridging The Gap
Content under the Bridging The Gap header covers our efforts in Fundraising & Development. Information about essential partnerships that bring greater support to NKSD classrooms, along with donor recognitions and announcements related to fundraising programs and events, also appear under this heading.
Kernels Of Effect
This smaller content category focuses on NKSF operational updates. Topics about our strategy, along with other crucial transparency-related content to inform our constituents about work happening behind the scenes at NKSF, will appear in the Kernels of Effect content.
The NKSF Assembly
Our monthly newsletter is an assemblage (we do so love wordplay) of the Weekly Updates, delivered on the first of each month. If you don’t want an email every week, The NKSF Assembly is the right choice for you to get a single, monthly summary newsletter containing a listing of all of the updates for the previous month.
